Let’s start with our families. Family is important to us and these are the ones we have connected with more than any others.

Home Projects in 2025 with Big Impact
Ministry
We enjoy serving the Lord and seeing His work in others. We have two different groups in our home for six meetings/month total. Besides that we work with other leaders to encourage, network, coach, and develop direction.
Three Graduations in 2025 and Other Achievements
We are proud of these grandkids for their accomplishments. They each did very well in their academic pursuits. Kyle is now freelancing as a video producer. Hope is attending Lee University in eastern Tennessee. Evie is taking some online college courses and working at a coffee shop. Below, high schoolers Will and Nora compete as runners; Nora also takes an art class at Akron University. The younger grandsons are showing promise in their running and basketball playing.
Chery’s Parents and Siblings
Chery’s parents have lived on their farm for 72 years. Their kids are working together to help them remain on the farm as long as possible. Chery is the oldest of seven.
Other Special Memories
About the same time, Zach’s family and Paula’s family moved to Wadsworth, west of Akron. Paula moved from Akron, but Zach’s move was particularly different in that he has not lived in Ohio for 20 years. We have been involved helping them both get settled into their new homes, and family gatherings for games and other activities have grown. We are enjoying the changes, and thinking that someday we too might live in or near Wadsworth!
Joy and her family felt a little lonely at Christmas since Zach & Sarah moved to Ohio, so Chery and I decided to drive down to Nashville and celebrate Christmas and Andrew’s birthday (the day after Christmas). This is when we also rode to Lee University and saw Hope cheer there, saw her college campus, and where she was living in the dorm. It was a fun nine days!
